Netflix Customers Are Going To Have Pay More For Their Subscriptions

We were all waiting for this, but hoping it wouldn’t happen. Netflix has raised their monthly rate from $7.99 to $9.99 in order for their customers will lose high-definition streaming capabilities.

Netflix reported that subscribers will soon have new options and can chose between keeping their lower rate and get downgraded to standard-definition streaming only or pay the same as new customers and get the “high definition benefits”.

The difference that this will make is about $25 a year and the company is not expecting much of a turnover because they are hoping customers will see the value in high-definition streaming and will still stick around. I mean in the end it is not that much more a month!
