The beauty of Snapchat is that you can send messages and photos to friends and then they will disappear after 10 seconds or less. Want to send an ugly selfie with an embarrassing filter or spilt a little too many secrets to your story on a drunken slumber? That’s fine because it won’t last forever. Yes, you will occasionally get some of your closest friends to take a few screenshots but it’s the only social media outlet that allows you to narrate your life in the present.
With the new Snapchat update, they are adding a new feature called memories. It is described to be, “a personal collection of your favorite moments that lives below the camera screen. You can use Memories to create new Stories from Snaps you’ve taken, or even combine different Stories into a longer narrative.” Watch the video below to see how it works:
